Most people come to us because they are in pain, but we can also help with more general complaints of stiffness, tension and feeling ‘out of balance’.

We aim not just to target the presenting symptoms, but to address the underlying structural problems that give rise to the symptoms in the first place. Making an accurate diagnosis is fundamental to this process and perhaps sets us apart from other therapists who have not undergone such a rigorous training.

Osteopaths use a wide variety of techniques to bring the body to optimum balance, improve function, and minimise wear and tear. Our holistic approach means we can adjust our treatment to suit you as an individual.

I fully understand that many people are anxious about what treatment will involve and if it will be painful. I will involve you in the treatment process at all times, always explaining what I aim to do, and gaining your informed consent. I aim to be as gentle as possible whilst still being effective, and I can modify my treatment at any time during the treatment if there is anything that you are not happy with.

Treatment is nearly all hands on and may include:

Massage based ‘soft tissue’ Techniques – to release muscle tightness and spasm
Articulation &
