Quendon Osteopathy will be re-opening on Monday 1st June.
Following guidance from my professional association, the Institute of Osteopathy, I can only see patients for a face to face appointment who cannot be helped with remote care via telephone or video. This might include people who have severe symptoms, symptoms that have not responded to self-care, symptoms that are impacting ability to work and symptoms that would otherwise see you needing to use alternative NHS services.
I cannot see anyone who has Covid-19 symptoms, is self-isolating due to contact with someone with who has Covid-19 symptoms, is shielding due to being classed as Extremely Clinically Vulnerable or lives in the same household as someone in these categories.
There will be an initial triage to determine whether face to face care is suitable and to discuss the risks, and therefore I will only be taking bookings over the phone or via email.

Helping you back to health
Osteopaths consider each person as an individual.
Using gentle manual techniques we will work with your body to create the perfect conditions to encourage the healing process and restore full function. We aim to find the underlying causes of your symptoms and correct them, giving you relief from pain in as few treatments as possible.
Osteopaths assess and treat people of any age from the newborn to the elderly, from pregnant woman to the elite athlete.
Quendon Osteopathy is Jacolin Sheaf's new clinic. Having run a busy multidisciplinary clinic in Lower Street, Stansted for nearly 30 years it was time to downsize. I have a lovely new treatment room, with a waiting area and toilet facilities. There is ground floor access which is wheelchair and pushchair accessible.
The clinic is conveniently situated just off the main road in Quendon, easily accessible from Bishop's Stortford, Stansted, Newport, Saffron Walden and surrounding villages and there are two onsite parking spaces.
Please browse the site for more information about Quendon Osteopathy, I am happy to answer any questions you might have about osteopathy, and give advice as to the suitability of osteopathic treatment.

Jackie is a very experienced osteopath. Having been to other osteopaths in the past, whose treatment has been quite rough, I was relieved to find Jackie, whose treatment is gentle whilst still being effective. She has helped me with acute issues, when I’ve entered her clinic doubled over and walked out upright. She has also helped with maintenance to keep chronic issues under control. I have recommended her to many friends, all of whom have benefitted from treatment with her. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
We took our 5 month old son to see Jackie as he was unable to settle in the night, suffering from possible silent reflux and was clearly uncomfortable. Jackie was wonderful and after a short course of treatments our son is now much more comfortable, easy to settle and as a consequence we are all getting a better nights sleep. I can't thank Jackie enough. Would highly recommend.
I have come to realise that Pilates with Jackie is just as important as having my back treated. A friend pointed me in Jackie's direction as going to a Pilates class could have caused my back more problems. The 1:1 support with my Pilates is invaluable - allowing me to go home and practice the exercises correctly. I'm literally going from strength to strength.
